Day 3 of the big climb

Another cold start to the day with the normal serving of porridge, eggs and toast. We set off at 09.30 and the route was a lot cooler as we were climbing higher to reach our ultimate goal. This route gave us some great views of Africa as we climbed above the clouds. Arrived at the camp for lunch and then set off for our afternoon walk at 3pm. Freddie gave some of us nick names, I got Mama, Silvia got Muffin and Robert was named Simba. The night was again cold and the tent was on a slope so keep sliding down in the bag all night, still none of us have had a good nights rest since leaving the hotel. We are all starting to look dirty now as we have had no water to wash in for 4 days, thank god for wet wipes.
